Terms of Use
These terms apply to your use of the Moonpix AI service at moonpixai.com. The service is provided by Umut Hasan Şahin (an individual; "we" in this text). When you open an account and accept these terms, a contract is formed between us.
How your personal data is processed is described in the Privacy Policy. Sending what you upload and your prompts to AI providers is governed by the AI Processing Agreement, which you accept separately.
What the service is
Moonpix AI is a web service that lets you generate images and videos with AI from a description you write (a prompt) or from a photo or video you upload. The generation is done by models of the AI providers we work with. The coin price of every generation is shown on screen before you start it.
Who can use it
The service is only for people who are 18 or older. We ask for your year of birth on the agreements step and also ask you to confirm that you entered your year of birth correctly and that you are 18 or older.
If your year of birth shows you are under 18, you cannot continue to the service. If we find that someone under 18 is using the service, we close that account's access to the service.
Your account
You can open your account with your email address and a password, or with your Google account. We verify your email address with a one-time code. If you like, you can add a second verification step to sign-in.
The information you give, including your year of birth, must be accurate. You are responsible for the security of your account and sign-in details; you may not let anyone else use your account, or transfer or sell it. If you think your account is being used without your permission, write to us straight away.
With the same account you can also sign in to our other apps and use your coins there.
Coins
Coins are a right to use the service for generating. They are not money or a means of payment: they have no cash value and cannot be cashed out, transferred to another account or sold.
When you start a generation, its price in coins is set aside from your balance and held while the generation runs. When the generation completes, those coins are spent. If the generation fails or the request is refused, the coins set aside return to your balance automatically; you do not need to do anything.
AI produces a different result every time; a result that is not what you expected is not in itself a failure. This does not affect your rights under the law.
The coin prices of models may change. The current price is always shown before you generate; the number of coins in your balance is not affected. If you delete your account, your unused coins become unusable along with it.
Purchases and subscriptions
Today, coins and subscriptions can be bought only through the App Store and Google Play. For these purchases, payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds go through that store's own processes; you manage and cancel your subscription in that store's subscription settings. A subscription bought in a store renews automatically at the end of the period the store shows, unless you cancel it.
When purchases on the web open, they will be governed by separate sales terms (a preliminary information form and a distance sales contract), which will be shown to you before you buy.
Your consumer rights under the law are preserved in every case.
Acceptable use and prohibited content
You may use Moonpix AI only lawfully and in line with these terms. It is prohibited to generate, try to generate, upload or share through the service any of the following:
- Any content that sexualises children: content showing someone who is not of legal age in a sexual, obscene or sexually suggestive way. It makes no difference whether it is real or generated, realistic or drawn. This is also a crime; when we become aware of it, we close the account and report it to the competent authorities.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery: a nude, sexual or sexually suggestive image of a real person without their explicit permission. It makes no difference whether that person's photo was uploaded or they were described by name.
- Deceptive fake content (deepfakes): showing a real person saying something they did not say or doing something they did not do and presenting it as real; producing content to mislead people about elections, news or events, to defraud, to blackmail or to humiliate someone.
- Impersonation and forgery: passing yourself off as a person, organisation or brand; producing fake official documents, identity documents, signatures or money.
- Violence and hate: content that glorifies or encourages violence, terrorism or self-harm; hate speech targeting a person or group because of their race, religion, sex, disability or a similar characteristic; harassment and threats.
- Other people's rights: content that infringes someone else's copyright, trade mark, personality or privacy rights; disclosing someone's personal information without permission.
- Other unlawful content, and facilitating anything unlawful.
You may not misuse the service itself either: trying to get around security or age checks, sending bulk requests with automated tools, trying to reverse-engineer the service, using someone else's account, or opening more than one account to multiply free allowances is prohibited.
Your generation requests go through automated safety checks: we have a rule aimed at blocking requests that sexualise children, and the AI providers' safety systems may also refuse a request. No coins are spent on a refused request.
Real people
- You may upload your own photo or video. You may upload a photo or video showing someone else only if you have that person's permission.
- You may upload a photo of a child only if you are their parent or with their parent's permission. Content that sexualises children is not allowed with any permission.
- You may not use a real person's likeness in a way that makes them appear to endorse a product or view, humiliates them or misleads people. This applies to well-known people too.
Content you upload
Upload only photos, videos and text that are yours or that you have the right to use. Your rights in the content you upload stay with you.
You give us only the permission needed to provide the service: to store the content, process it, pass it to AI providers for the generation and show you the result. This permission ends when the content is deleted; retention periods are in the Privacy Policy. We do not use what you upload to train AI models.
Content you generate
You may use the images and videos you generate for personal or commercial purposes, provided you do so lawfully and in line with these terms; we claim no rights over them. Whether AI outputs are protected by copyright varies from country to country; we cannot give any assurance about this.
Outputs are generated automatically. They may be wrong, unexpected or similar to what others have generated, and they do not depict reality. Checking an output before you use it, and how you use it, is your responsibility.
Say that it was made with AI. If you share an output somewhere people might believe it is real, especially realistic images and videos showing real people, places or events, you must clearly say that it was generated with AI. The EU AI Act (Article 50) also requires realistic fake content to be disclosed in this way. If an output carries a mark or information showing that it was made with AI, do not remove it.
Your generations are removed within 30 days; download whatever you want to keep within that time.
Intellectual property and complaints
The software, design, name and logo of Moonpix AI belong to us or we have the right to use them. You may not copy or use them beyond the use these terms allow.
If you see content on the service that you believe infringes copyright, trade mark or personality rights, contains non-consensual intimate imagery or is unlawful for another reason, report it through the request form: describe the content, why it is unlawful and how we can reach you. We review reports and, where needed, remove the content and restrict the account involved. We prioritise reports concerning children and non-consensual intimate imagery.
If we remove your content or restrict your account, we tell you why. If you disagree with our decision, you can object through the support screen or the request form.
Suspension and termination
You can delete your account at any time from the Account page. Deletion happens after 7 days; until then you can change your mind. Details are on the Data Deletion page.
If you breach these terms seriously or repeatedly, if we reasonably suspect unlawful use, or if the law requires it, we may suspend or close your account. Where possible we tell you in advance and say why. In serious cases such as content sexualising children or non-consensual intimate imagery, we may close the account immediately and without notice.
If we decide to end the service entirely, we will announce it reasonably in advance.
Availability
We work to keep the service running without interruption but cannot guarantee there will be none: maintenance, a provider failure or a legal requirement may stop the service temporarily. We may add, change or remove models; if a model is removed, your coins can still be used with other models.
Liability
We try to provide the service with care. We are always liable for damage caused by our intent or gross negligence, and in the other cases where the law does not allow liability to be limited. Beyond that, to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for unforeseeable indirect loss (for example, loss of profit) or for how you choose to use outputs.
To the extent permitted by law and in proportion to your fault, you are responsible for claims that others bring against us because of content you generated or shared in breach of these terms.
This section does not limit your rights as a consumer under the law or the statutory limitation periods.
Changes
These terms are versioned. We announce a change on the site before it takes effect. For a material change that affects your rights or obligations, you are asked to read and accept the new version; you cannot continue with your account without accepting it. If you do not want to accept it, you can download your data and delete your account.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Türkiye. This choice does not remove the consumer protection rules of the country you live in that cannot be waived by contract; those rules apply as well.
If you are a consumer in Türkiye, you can apply to the consumer arbitration committee within the monetary limits announced each year, and to the consumer court above those limits; a mediation step required by law may come before court. Your right to apply to the committee or court where you live is preserved. If you are a consumer living in the European Union, you can also go to the courts of your own country.

This text is a translation of the Turkish original. If the two differ, the Turkish text prevails.
